Atlanta Weekend

When we were in Atlanta we met up with Scotts old roomate from college, JT. After we left the Braves game we met him at a bar to watch the rest of the Auburn game. The boys were so focused on the game I had to take a pic of them.
This was Scott after Auburn lost the game.
This was me after Auburn lost and Alabama won that day. No I didnt rub it in or anything I would never do something like that.

Braves game

Scott and I went to Atlanta this weekend to see a Braves game. Of course I had to wear my Alabama shirt because they had an awsome win earlier in the day.

There should be a huge baseball behind us but you cant see it. We left the kids in Bham with grandparents so this was an adult only trip.

Alabama State Fair

We took the kids to the Alabama State Fair this weekend. It has been moved to the Oak Mountain Ampitheatre, thank goodness so now we dont have to worry about being shot. It wasnt as big as when I was a child but the kids had fun and that is what matters.

This is Tanner, Kadie and me riding on the Tilt-O-Whirl, they loved it and it was one of my favorite rides as a child.
I dont know what this ride is called but I called it the broke down chevrolet because it went around in a circle up and down like it has a flat tire, also the seatbelts were like the 1980 seatbelts in the chevys
The good ole teacup ride.

We took the kids tailgaiting down to Tuscaloosa several weekends ago and they had a good time.

Kadie had a little too much fun

Tanners first day at school.

Tanner had his first day of Kindergarten today. I let him ride the bus to and from school, only because Brandon was on there too. This is his bus pulling up to the bus stop to drop him off from his first day of school. He did get a bad note the first day too because he was talking excessively. Also, he was so excited about getting off the bus that he forgot his backpack in his seat. Luckily Brandon was behind him to save the day and he picked it up. Thanks Brandon for being such a good big brother.
